Siemens S7-1200 Starter Kit: PLC Input Simulator

Siemens S7-1200 Starter Kit is one of the best ways to begin PLC programming with a Siemens PLC. With the Starter Kit you get not only a Siemens PLC in their S7-1200 series, but also the programming software STEP 7 Basic TIA Portal 13. For learning purposes you also get an input simulator with the kit. This video shows you how to use the PLC input simulator to simulate both normally open and normally closed contacts. In the video I use the left 4 switches are used in normally open position while I use the last 4 as normally closed. This is done simply by changing the direction in which you flip the switch.
